Cadence's princess hat

Well as many of you know, Cadence was born with one side of head being flatter than the other side. It is called Plagiocephaly. We did not think of any thing of it for about 8 months or so. Well we decided to have her checked out and it turned out she is a level 3 and needed to get fitted for a helmet. The helmet will form her head as it grows in a round head.

This was hard for me to digest, knowing that my only girl wil have to wear this ugly looking white hard hat for 3 months and for 23 hours out of the 24. I know that it is best for her and she will thank us in the future, but I will tell you that for not being a year old yet, she sure has been through alot of tough moments. It is what it is and she is still as a cute as button and I see those rosy cheeks sticking out from the hat. It is harder to kiss her, but I have found ways.

She is doing well though and I think will adjust perfectly like a princess.

Outside time finally

We finally got some outside time today with the kiddos, only the big ones though, the little ones were napping. It was great to have them outside for once. It was a fight to get them back in, but when the timer went off it was time!! Kendric enjoyed playing with his BFF in the sand today.

Cadence standing up in her crib

Cadence has now learned to pull up on her crib and thinks it is the best thing. She struggles to go to sleep because she wants to bounce and play., but who would'nt?Everytime I go in to get her my heart melts and it is the best thing because she is standing up playing and the biggest smile just gleams with proudness. Awww!! I love it!!!

Cadence 9 month checkup 3-31

Cadence went for her 9 month checkup and everything is great. She is a growing girl.

She weighs 17.5 and is 28 inches long. She is crawlingt and starting to climb up on things so she is right where she needs to be. She is 30% for weight and 70% for height. Long and Lean. I think she is going to walk sooner then her brother did. She has desire to keep up with him.
