Wordless Wednesday

Need some ideas

Ok, I need ideas. I cannot decide what to put on each side of the fireplace. After the first of the year we are going to cut a hole and put the t.v above the fireplace, but I have not idea about the walls next to do it. It is hard to figure something out because I think they need to be the same, but maybe not. I have looked online in magazines and have not really found anything. Please help.

Cadence 2 year old checkup

I took Cadence to her now annual doc appt. Everything is great. She weighs 25# and she is 36 inches. 30% for weight and 90% for height.

She had to get 1 shot,but did not say a peep or cry and cooperated with the doctor. She is such a big girl!

4th of July neighborhood gathering

We really enjoyed the 4th this year. We had a gathering with our neighbors and tons of food and fun fireworks. Ryan and I were not sure how the kids were going to do with fireworks,but they both loved them. We had discussed all day that loud noises were going to be going on all day,but at night the sky would be pretty with lights that were fireworks so I think we prepared them enough.

Kendric loved watching them and loved the loud ones,which surprised us a bit and Cadence looked up at the sky and kept saying "wow pretty, I want to see it again." Every holiday gets better and better the older the kids get. They loved all the festivites that went on today.

It was a wonderful 4th.

Happy 4th of July

Just want to thank the troops for giving their lives for our freedom. Freedom is never free,but freedom is great. Amen to Indepence day.

I like the 4th of July,but yet it is a sad day for those who lost a loved one and those who are serving right now. Lets pray for those both lost and those who are fighting to save our country.

big beds transition and bow wig

It is about that time Kendric get into a big bed and Cadence into a toddler bed. Kendric was very excited about his new bed. He loved the sports bed set we got for him and counting the all balls on his sheets. I have some ideas to finish his room,but it is going to have to wait until the first of the year. He slept very well last night in his bed. He wants to go bed all the time now just to get in his bed.

Cadence was also very excited to see her big girl bed. She saw it and said "wow" as her eyes got big. I thought she was going to give me some trouble staying her bed,but last night she fell right to sleep. We will see if that last. Give it some time and I am sure I will be up late trying to get her to sleep! Wish me luck when that time comes.

Cadence also found some bows in her closet and wanted them in her hair all at once. It was pretty funny.

It is time to say goodbye to the crib for now. RIP crib.
