31 weeks
Size of baby: 4 pounds
Weight gain: 21 total
Cravings: no new ones
What I miss: being able to paint my toenails
What to look forward to: getting the room ready
Not sure what face I was making when Ryan took the picture. I wanted to see me from both angles to see if there was a size difference from another angle. hmmm, not really! I feel huge no matter what side I look, but not to much longer left until we meet our baby girl!

Pool party birthday party
We went to a birthday party for one of Kendric's friends that was in preschool with him. We try to get together once or twice a month to keep in touch. The party was at their pool and they have a splash part of it which is really nice. (our pool is getting one for next summer) yay!! They had alot of fun and it was the perfect day for it. We actually are at the pool everyday when it is hot and sunny. What else is there to do especially when I am almost 31 weeks pregnant.
It was a great time.

You need to see
The "Book Of Eli" I have heard very good things about this movie, but it just did not look like my kind of movie. Ryan and I have movie date night every week and we stay at home and watch a movie we get from netflix or redbox after the kids go to bed. Ryan chose this movie and I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. I will not give anything away, but it was a great ending and the best movie I have seen in awhile. I highly recommend watching this. Great movie and Denzel did such a great job.
P.S Another great movie Grown ups.
Hope you get a chance see them both.

Happy 70th wedding anniversary
Ryans grandparents celebrated their 70th wedding anniversay. Wow, what an awsome milestone. It is so rare these days it seems like to be married for 10 years let alone 70. They had a celebration in Ryan's hometown yesterday, but Ryan had a prior engagement at church that day and it was just not the right time. I hope everybody understands why we were not there. Their guideness is God and having a christian marriage and loving each other for who the person is and communtication are so important in a marriage and Granny and granddad have that.
they are 2 wonderful people and have the purest hearts.
I hope you 2 have manymore to come and congrats on such a wonderful marriage.
(Kendric wanted me to post all three pictures we took, and was standing right by me when I did this post.)

Towel giveaway
I forgot to blog about this, it is one entry if I do, but I love the monorgrammed towels and hope to win. I have 3 giveways so I am hoping for 4. Here is to winning.
When I opened the fridge door.....
I found these in it. Cadence is soooo much into babies and feeding them and giving them a bath and just about everything. I decided to buy her some cheap bottles from the baby section instead of actual baby bottles. so much cheaper. She wanted something that looked like milk in them, so I put a little bit of baby formula from samples I keep getting in the mail and then added a some water. She was happy with that.
I guess she wanted to keep them cold for her babies. They get fed breakfast, lunch and dinner and always a snack before bedtime. LOVE IT!!
I chuckled when I saw these in there. I love how kids are sponges to everything and soak up everything they see. I love watching her play.
Have a great Wednesday.

Ohama zoo

we ventured the 3 hours to the Ohama zoo yesterday. It was such a wonderful awsome day,but LONG day especially for a 7 month pregnant mama. I was dragging by the end of the day, but it was so worth it. My sister has been visiting and was able to come with us so that helped. They had alot of neat things to look at,but I think our favorite was the gorilla house. They are so funny. They were just relaxing and then one just stayed up to the glass and just looked at everybody. Cadence's 3 year old check up
Cadence had her 3 year check up on Tuesday. Everything is great and is right on the charts. She had to get a shot that day, which was a surprise, but it is a new pnemonion(sp) shot that are giving boosters to 1 and up and all new babies automatically get it. I thought it was not going to be pretty because I had no time to prepare her or bribe her with a gift, but she did not cry at all. What a girl.
When they 3 and older they have the kids put on a hospital gown and she thought this was pretty cool.

Last Sunday
I am a little late posting this as time got away from me. last Sunday our church's sermon was on the last Chapter of Jonah. God told Jonah to step out of his comfort zone. This was such a good chapter. Our paster challenged us (as a church) to step out of our comfort zone and he took off his shoes and laid them on the stairs of the alter. He proceeded to read a letter from Haiti and some missionaries had explained that people of Haiti live in tents and barely get anythin to eat, but they get all dressed up and fancy to go to church. They will not go to church though if they do not shoes to wear, well he challenged us to step out of our comfort zone and take off the shoes on our feet and place them on the stairs so the the people of Haiti would have shoes to wear to church.
I sat there as I watched person after person take off their shoes and put them on the stairs. I prayed and prayed at that moment for god to lay it on my heart to take my shoes off. As I thought about this, I struggled with this because I had shoes on that were on of my favorite pair of shoes and I wore them all the time, but God reached my heart and I thought a bout all the shoes I have in my closet(some I have not even worn this summer yet) and how most of th people in Haiti do not have any shoes at all and are walking on rock or hot cement orwhatever the case may be. I took my shoes off and placed them on the floor and felt a sense of relief knowing I did the right thing.
After the sermon was over I went to go the kids(Ryan is a prayer counsler now so I have to go get both kids) and both of them asked me why I did not have shoes on, I explained to them that I gave them a mommy who does not have any shoes at all and sometimes her feet hurt because she does not have shoes on to protect them. Cadence right away took off her shoes and placed them on the stairs and then Kendric did as well, but as he watched the shoes being packed away in bins, he had a little bit of regret, but Ryan and I told him both how proud we were of him and that he will make another 4 year old boy so happy because he has shoes to wear. He soon understood the reason for giving his shoes away. I was tearful as my kids made up their own minds and let god reach them to give their shoes away.
It was raining that day and the ground was wet, so it helped when we all walked out barefoot. We needed to run some errands that day,but did not swing home to get shoes so we decided to go to target to get some cheap flip flops. Target is really strict about no shoes on no service, but figured they would understand after we explained why I was barefoot and pregnant and the rest of my family had no shoes on,but we made a beeline for the shoe section and quickly picked out some shoes and tore he tags off and went to buy them.
It was pretty funny the looks we got,but hey, we had a fantastic reason and good way to god's word to reach other people.
It was such a powerful Sunday and we all felt awsome for the act of kindess we did. Just wanted to share this with you all and hope it reaches your heart as it did ours.
By the way the church collected over 1400 pairs total from all 3 services.
