2010 Review

2010 was a great year for us. We had lots of ups and some downs.


January: Found out we were pregant and due in Sept./lost my grandmother
Enjoyed our extra week off of school due to mountains of snow.

Feb. Enjoyed the month 

March: Travled to Zoo with great friends during sprin break           May: found out we were having another girl/travled to Milan Missouri to visit with Ryan;s grandparents and family

 April: Had a great Easter

June: celebrated Cadence's 3rd birthday/travled to Ohio for a visit with my parents
July: Had a fun 4th of Julywith our neighbors
August: Kendric started his first real sport activity,flag football.
Sept. Celebrated Kendric's 5th birthday
         celebrated my birthday
          Kaelis Marie was born
Oct. Had a great Halloween with our neighbors and great First halloween for Kaelis
 Nov. Had wonderful Thanksgiving with my parents

Dec. Had a wonderful Christmas with my family.


God has blessed our family this year and am very greatful for things he has blessed us with. We had such a great year and cannot wait to see what 2011 brings us.

1. How long does your Christmas tree stay up?

It  use to be news year day,but the past couple of years it has come down earlier. It is already down.






2. Do you have plans for New Year's Eve?

Nope, with a 3 month old who is not predictable do not want to chance being out late. Hopefully in a few years.





3. Do you have any New Year's resolutions?

I do not make any anymore. I cannot promise I will keep them, so might as well not make any.





4. How did you spend New Year's Eve when you were younger?

 My parents would have friends over with their kids and we would have a party. It was alot of fun. I think I want start that with my kids.





5. What was the best way you've ever spent New Year's Eve?

At my grandparents house in Florida with the whole family. We would get dressed up and drink sparkling cider and have a party, It was so much fun. The best is with family, I think, although, it is nice to celebrate as adults sometimes as well. Hmmm.... not sure what that is like.  One day!

Wordless Wed

the past couple of days and happy birthday to my hubby

My parents and sister and brother in law have been in town since Last Wed. We are enjoying every moment as it si coming to end soon. Sadness. I get bummed after the Holidays because things go back to normal and visitors leave,but I guess it has to happen at some point.
  We all have had fun just hanging out and not really do anything. I  have had tons of help with the baby and the kids that I am enjoying the freedom right now.
 
  Today is also Ryan's birthday. We made his favorite cake and then he wanted to go Bufflo wild wings. That is his favorite resturant. He always says he feels like he is on vacation when he is there. Not sure why.
 It was a treat to go out to eat, as we have decided not to do it much anymore.
 I think he had a great birthday, at least he says he did!

Dear Ryan,

 I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to you. You have been and continue to be a great husband and father. You are such a hero to our kids and I love how they jump into your arms out of excitement when you come home from work  or in the morning when they come in bed with us and Cadence asks to snuggle with you.
 We all love you so much and thank you for everything you do for us and how hard you work to provide for us. We could not ask for a better guy. I love you and here is to being 29 for the 5th year!

Cadence loves the doll that looks like her. I ordered a bitty baby for her,but cancelled the order because I knew she would enjoy this one better. I got 4 sets of change of clothes and they all come with shoes. She loves shoes and when her dolls have shoes.




Kendric has been asking for a black spiderman costume forever and santa finally listened.

 





After Santa came

Christmas came and went so fast this year. I honestly think it was a huge blur. My parents came this year again and my sister and brother in law came christmas night. It was so great to see how excited the kids were. It gets better each year. We had Elroy the elf this year that watched the kids every move and it certainly helped the choice making. It was fun for Ryan and I to find places for him to hide. We had to get creative. It was great to have Kaelis with us this year,even thought she had no idea what was going on. I cannot wait until next year when she will be old enough to enjoy Christmas.
We did something new this year that I think we will do every year. We decided to go through our toys and give them to boys and girls who do not have any. It was great to have the kids put things in bags that they no longer wanted to play with. We had no room for our new things,so we decided this is what we are goiing to do every year. I got some new clothes so I even put some old ones to be given away.
 Our playroom looks so  much better.  Great feeling.
I think everybody was very happy with the presents Santa bought.
We are so thankful for the family we have and the time we are spending with them.
We are also thankful for the true meaning of Christmas and that we can celebrate Jesus and what he did for us.

Happy 3 months

I cannot  believe your is 3 montshsold already.
You weights 11 pounds 2 ounces
You have noticed your  hands and just looks at them all day. I LOVE IT!
You are cooing and giggling like crazy and is always smiling(when you are not fussy or tired)
you only get up once a night. Thank goodness and mommy is so greatful for that.
You have bought so much joy into the family and your older sister helps out so much
I cannot wait to see what you do next. We love you so much and are so greatful god gave us you.
