1. Can you drive a stick shift?

No. I have tried and  I just cannot get the hang of it. I would rather have one hand free anyway.





2. What are two foods you just can't eat?

   Sushi and seafood





3. Do you buy Girl Scout Cookies? What is your favorite kind?

  Oh yes.  I look forward to it. We get thin mints carmel delights and peanut butter






4. How do you pamper yourself?
 
 Pamper, what is pampering? LOL!!!  If I do have time to pamper myself it is pedicure or facial. Those 2 things relax me.  I usually buy things for my kids, clothes and accesories mostly. That is pampering for me. I do need to get a pedicure really badly, before flip flop season! Yikes





5. What is your nickname and how did you get it?

  Not a real creative one, but is it Coley. Everybody calls me that. The younger crowd (under age of  4 call me Cole.  My mom always use to call me coley banoley, and I shortened it to Coley.

Happy 5 months

I cannot believe you are already 5 months old
you weigh 13# 8
You are sleeping better at night,but still want mommy to get up.
You take a 4ounce formula bottle and 4 ounce breast milk bottle
You still nurse,but not round the clock. You take a formula once or twice a day and then before you go to bed.
You are eating evey 2 to 3 hours still
You take cat naps,but I am working on 2 good naps. It is hard since I cannot attend to that all the time and it is not quiet during the week.
You have learned to scream and you do it really loudly. You are talking more.
You are starting to work on some teeth, but nothing has come in yet.
You love your brother and sister and they sure know how to make you giggle and keep you enertained.
you are losing some hair,but hopefully will grow in same color.
You are a very happy baby and only cry when you are hungry or tired or just need some TLC
We love you princess

chucker or a keeper?

I heard this converstation on Klove this morning. They were talking about your childrens art work and whether you throw it away  or keep it.  I thought I would do a post about it. I am curious on the knowing who is a chucker or keeper.
  I will have to be honest and say I have been knowen to be a Chucker,but have begun to be a keeper. I am a chucker when it comes to little scrap peices of paper or just simple drawings,but I will keep things that Kendric did at school or something neat Cadence did at home. I have plans to frame some of them and hang in the playroom, just have not done it yet.
  Sometimes I will feel bad throwing it away because they are so excited about their "masterpeice" so I will keep it for awhile and hang it up and then eventually I will weed it out and replace it with new one.
   I know it will be neat looking back at the art work when all the kids are all growen up and their artwork is the only thing that is left from their childhood and that is why I am becoming more of a keeper,but when everything starts stacking up and there is all this paper on my counter just sitting there, I began to think about finding a home in the trash can. I do have a since of  guilt when I think that,so they sit on my counter even longer.  Since Cadence does not miss a beat, she would ask for that one  peice of paper with the purple square on it that she drew 6 months ago and it would be long gone, I decided I would get a pocket organizer and keep the work for awhile.

5Q Friday

1. Have you worn the same outfit more than one day in a row?

I have been knowen to, if it is a clean. It might be wear something on Monday and then again on Sat. Jeans for sure. I do not have time nor want to do that much laundry. Ihave enough doing 3 kids laundry.




2. If you had to choose any LARGE city to live in, which would it be?
    You know I do not have a specific city, but anywhere that has palm trees and is always warm!





3. Fly or drive with the kids on vacation?
 LOL! I could go both ways/. I would like to fly because it is so much quicker,but harder to entertain the kiddos and more expensive. All the rushing around to the airport and the collection of the bags, packing all the stollers and carseats.  MOST OF ALL trying to keep the kids quiet and not disturb the other people on the plane that do notahve kids with them. They are not always the nicest people!
  I like to drive though because we can make as many stops as we need to and the kids can scream or cry or do whatever and not disturb others, expect drive the parents bonkers. We can hook up a dvd player and I can sleep!  I like that when we reach our destination, we have a car and do not have to rent one or borrow one.  All in all driving is the best for me.





4. What is your idea of "spring cleaning"?
    Clean the carpets and open windows. Everything is really ongoing for me. I will organize the closets and switch out winter to summer clothes.




5. What is the best book you have ever read?


 I do not read that much, but I read the bible everyday.

1. Would you rather be on ABC's Extreme Home MakeOver or TLC's What not to Wear?

Tough one, but I would pick What not to wear. A chance to get 5000 dollors to go shopping I will take. Even it means critisim on my clothes.






2. Do you have any tattoos?
    No and never will





3. Do you tell your kids about things you did growing up?
Only the good things! Some things that I see similar in them I tell and some traditions.




4. If the traffic signal turns yellow, do you stop or speed up?
   LOL!! Speed up. I tell my kids  that the light means to slow down,but
they have not noticed that I speed up.





5. What's your preference: chocolate or chips?
Chips. I am not a real Chocolate lover. I know
Wierd. Sometimes I will have  peice of chcolate
and them some chips. Yummy.

Labels

As you  have seen on my sidebar, I am a rep of Stuck on you Labels. I know there are alot of label companies right now,but stuck on you goes beyond just labels. They have luggage and backpack tags, and wall decals and I am allergic to braclets and the list goes on and on.
  I used these labels for awhile now and they never come off. No matter how much they are washed. I have them in clothes, shoes books etc..... Some orders I have gotten have just the last name and in a neutral color so that they can be used for more than 1 child.  I have also had orders for name of child braclets for trips and field trips. They also have parent call me info cards. Instead of writing down on a peice of paper your info, just give the parent or teacher a card with all your important info on it. bugs

Bugs and more bugs. Not the animal bugs,but the sickness bug. I mean the throwing up yucky awful bug. It snuck into our house again and it always seems like it is in Feburary. No sure, but it always is. Kendric got a very mild case of it and only vomited once and was fine the next day. Cadence had it today and poor thing vomited about 3 times and I think she is good now,but we will see if she makes it thru the night. I think baby kaelis had it well,but she had the diaper bug. She is a spitter upper so I am not sure if she actually had the throwing up part or not. She was so cranky and slept alot the other day that I am wondering if she had a touch of it.
  I so wish I could prevent these things. We wash our hands like crazy, we take vitamins and immune vitamins and I wipe things down,but I guess  there is so much you can do. I am just glad it is over and we can move on. I WANT SPRING!!!!!
  Today was not to bad,just want it over with. This and the cold is the top 2 things I hate about winter. I am really interested in moving somewhere where I can flip flops everyday!

4 Month checkup

Today we had Kaelis's 4 month checkup. Everything is great. You weigh 13 pounds 8 ounces,  which is 50% your height rose to 70 percentile at 25 inches. You have had a little stranger anxiety lately. The minute Dr. Storm walked in you screamed and then calmed down once you knew mommy was holding you. I love it though that you need reassurance from me that it is ok!
 The shots were,of course not your favorite moment, but they over quickly.

The arrow is pointing to her that sticks up because she has starting pulling it and rubbing her head when she gets scared or tired. Very interesting,but cute. I love the way her hands are folded. She always has them that way.

  You are growing like you should be.
