11 months

This is the best that I could do. She is so quick right now, it is hard to get a picture.
How quickly time flies. I almost have a one year old.
You are sleeping through the night.
You eat some  table food and some baby food still.
You drink from a sippy cup
You still take a bottle with formula,but will be transtioning soon to milk and no bottle,
You are walking around things like crazy and I am sure you will be walking soon.
You get into everything and know you are not suppose to! You have the best giggle and I love to hear it all the time.
You have done so many little things. You are really showing your temper, especially if someone takes something away from you.
We love you more and more each day.

Being Brave and then giving up.

Kaelis is becoming more and more brave. She likes to climb on the chairs and then stand on them until she falls back and hits her head.

and then she gives up and puts her feet up. She has such a temper,but yet can be so darn cute.
She looks more like a toddler now than a baby. Time goes by to fast!

new look, new name

I have to give all the credit to my friend Stacey. for my blog and new name. I was still not happy with my name of the blog and the design. I asked Stacey if she would fiddle around with it. I LOVE it! Thank you so much Stacey for my new design.
 Let me explain the name... we are huge Chicago Bear fans and people always say Da' Bears so Stacey thought of DA' Clarks based on that. Thought that was really creative.
 I am up and running again!

Excuse my blog while I do some redesigning of it. I will still post, it just might not look to good at the moment.

1. Did you make any fun purchases this week?

No. Well... I am a thirty one consultant and purchased some neat 31 items. That is it though.






2. If you could go to any musical concert, what would it be?

     Crowder band or Hill song. I guess Hill song since Crowder band will be over soon.





3. What is your least fav/ most fav house chore?
  Worst is    Cleaning the bathrooms and dusting. I guess I need to add in laundry, I loath it.  favorite is vacumming! I love the vacumm lines.





4. Would you prefer new appliances or clothes?
 This is a tough one because I hate the black appliances we have,but I love clothes so I would say clothes, mostly for my kids and some for me of course. Everytime I look at the appliances and see the water marks and all kind of marks I always dream of a Stainless Steel oven, stove, frigde, microwave. Awww.. to dream.




5. Miracle Whip or Mayo?

 Miracle whip all the way. Mayo is not for me. I cannot stand it.

Mops

I am excited to say I am finially member of Mops.  I have always wanted to join,but being a working mom, I could never attend the ones druing the day. The more I thought about it, I really  was not thinking it was  I  fair to just have this just available to SAHM moms.
Not sure if I was being selfish,but I just wanted to meet other moms that I could relate to. I struggle with having to work and still have envy of those moms that do not.,but am working on accepting that is what I have to do for my family and God. We could not live the way we do if I did not work.
As I was thinking of Mops and how I could be a member and still work, that is when I contacted my church and talked to them about having a evening mops for working moms.
They finally listened and they have set up an evening Mops for working moms. Thank goodness. I am really excited about meeting other working moms and being able to connect with that being in common and maybe knowing I am not the only one with envy feelings will be the right kind of medicine!
We will meet the first Wed night of the month and it is on the same night as Awana's and the class Ryan is teaching so we will all be up there at the same time. It will make it much easier.
I am greatful to have this opportuinity to connect with other moms. I have been asked if I would be a table leader. Any advice on should I be one or to much work would be great. There are other areas of needed help that I can check into as well.
I am excited and cannot wait until Sept.

1. Do you close the bathroom door when you are home alone?

NO. I  am so use to keeping the door open when my kids are home, it does not even phase me to do it when I am alone.

3. What store do you refuse to shop at and why?

WALMART!! It drives me crazy how crazy it can be in there. The lack of non friendly people. The one by our house is the worse because it is the only one on our side of  town and everybody and their brother shops there. When I pull into the parking lot, I can feel my blood pressure go upd. Walmart is the first place my husband and I had a fight as a married couple. I would rather pay a little bit more in groceries,than shop at walmart.





4. If you participated in arranged marriages for your child(ren), who would you choose for your child(ren)?
         A neighbor for my daughter. He is so polite and well mannered and then there is a another neighbor perfect for my daughter.





5. If you could pick how and when you would die, would you?

    No. God only knows when that is and how it will be.

First day of Kindergarten

Kendric started Kindergarten yesterday. How time flies. I remember people telling me enjoy the time with them because school will come so quick and your time will be limited with them. They were not a kiddin. It is amazing that I remember like it was yesterday  that I was holding a 7# 5 ounce baby boy in my arms. He has growen up so much and matured. His love for God is bigger than big and he has such a tender heart. He loves his sisters so much and is such a joy.
    He says the funniest things that make us laugh until our bellies hurt and then he will give out those hugs and I love you that just melts us  to peices.

 I am just greatful God chose me to be his mom. I am forever greatful!

Crazy and trying to catch up.

Well, I am still here, just so busy right now. I started back to work last week and then Flag Football is starting. Awana with  church and some other things. I am trying to catch up. I have Piles of laundry to put away and just keeping up with 3 kids, working full-time,from home,but still get behind. I  am almost caught up on things and will be back to juggling things. I hope! I have a some posts I have planned and missed wordless  Wed. because I am so darn busy.

Wordless Wed Captain American Style

library fun

Since it is the last day of summer break for me, I decided to run some errands while I could during the day. We went to the library and Kaelis had a blast playing with all the toys while the kids and I read some books.

Bunch of Randomness and weekend,

I took the kids to the park one day last week. I left the baby with a neigbor so I could have one on one time with the kids before starting work again. The sun started to shine nice and bright so that is why the lovely squinting face.

 Over the weekend we decided to take a trip to the Legends and do some shopping. We went to Cabella's and the kids loved the mini aquarium. We then went to the T rex restaurant. It was a suprise to the kids.

5 Q Friday

1. Do you have siblings and are you close with them?
'
I have 2 younger sisters. One is 8 years younger than me and I am the closest to her,but still not as close enough as I would like. My other sisiter is 3 years younger than me. I have never been to close to her. I am bummed about not having an wonderful close relationship with either of them.  When we were growing up we played with each other alot,but when we got older, things seem to fizzle. There were many road blocks that made us not real close. Not sure why we never really close,but I wish we could start over and have a closer relationship. We have conversations on the phone and have a good time when are together,but we that is about it. One factor that may be the cause is I live 360 miles away from them.  I love them and have a great time when are together.






2. Would you rather be slightly UNDER weight or slightly OVER weight?
  This is  really tough one for me! Since I workout everyday and have some muscle mass I would say I am slightly OVER weight because of my muscle. Not sure I want to give the muscle mass up so I would say OVER weight,but without the muscle mass I would rather be slightly UNDER weight,




3. What's your favorite State Fair food to splurge on?
    Funnel cakes!





4. What are your thoughts on your kid(s) going to school in a few weeks?
     I have a bunch of thoughts about this. I am ready for my oldest to start Kindergarten and get in that routine and make new friends. I am ready for the routine,BUT I know that summer is almost over and the cold starts and most of all the laziness of summer stops. I love getting up in the morning and not doing anything or not getting dressed all day. On somedays Kendric is such a trouble maker that I look forward for school to start. My middle daughter starts preschool and I have aniexty about that because she is such a mommy's girl nad hates to be away from me and I worry she is going to have a tough time,but I know she will adjust.
  I have a great deal of the blues because I start back to work on Tuesday. I have a preschool out of my basement just during the school year and they start trickling in on Tuesday. I mixed emotions about this. Saddness and excitement.





5. Pool or Ocean?
    I like the pool because there is no messy sand and no creatures and it is easier to watch the kids,but I do like the ocean because the only time we go is on vacation.

Sheperding a Childs heart

We are studying this book in Sunday School and I have to be honest. It is a though book to

read and discuss. At times it makes me feel Ihave done everything wrong when it comes to parenting. It talks about parenting through the childs heart and focusing on having a tender heart and using a biblical understanding of behavior.
 Here are a few questions to reflect on:
*What is wrong with achange in behavior without a change in heart?
*Why is it so easy to get sidetracked with behavior without a change in the heart?
  I have been trying really hard to focus on the heart and using that as a guideline for parenting.
  It is so hard to just stay calm and use certain stratigies,instead I find myself getting all tense and yelling or just solving the problem myself instead of staying calm and using the heart as a guideline. I want to raise my kids in Godly manner and using God as my guideline.
 I realize that if my mood is stressed out or I am tired or or just daily factors, it effects my way of parenting. I tend to just get frustrated more easily, instead of taking a step back and maybe a mommy time out to refocus and gather my thoughts and then dealing with the situation. Anybody else feel like this sometimes.
 I think this book will really help and give me a more understanding of bibical ideas.
