Happiness

Watching my girls wrestle and cuddle and just have fun is happiness. I will never get that moment back of watching my girls just loving each other and having fun. these are the blessings I thank God for everyday.  They had such delight and glistening to their eyes. I just sat and snapped pics quickly as I knew it was not going to last very long. What a blessing to experience such pureness of such young hearts.

weekend

we had a busy weekend again. It seems like we have so much going on the weekends. Life is just getting busier! Kendric had his second flag football game. It is so funny to watch Kindergartners play. He is the oldest because he had to play twice on the K league. That is ok. Gives him the practice.

 We went to our friends daughters birthday on Sat on a farm and it was so much fun. The kids had a blast.

Pirate girls and boy

Last Sunday( Yes I know kinda late) we went to a pirate birthday party. It was so much fun. They had a pirate bounce house, pirate goodies, and the parents were dressed up as pirates.
   They did had alot of pirates there and alot of hidden treasures and treasures to take home.

Happy Birthday big 1 year old

I cannot believe my sweet baby turns 1 today. It just seemed like yesterday I was in the hospital with hard contractions praying you would be born soon!

You are eating table food and we are in the process of switching from formula to milk. You are not a big fan of the milk, but everyday is getting better. You are walking around furniture like crazy and have taken a few steps. I am sure soon you will be walking all over the place. You love saying "hi" to everybody and waving. You smile all the time and are such a happy baby, We know when you need something because you fuss.
 You bring so much joy to our lives and our family and I cannot imagine our family without you. I cannot wait to see what you do next and am so greatful God chose your dad and I to be your parents.
  We love you so very much baby girl,  Happy Birthday to you.

I just cannot believe how much they change the first year.

Just what I needed to read

Today was rough. I was just tired and work was a struggle today and then just a couple things mixed in  just made it that kind of day that you want to go bed and start over. I just wanted to go take a hot shower and just crawl into bed,but with any normal day I could not and just had to deal with it.
  I then read this http://www.kellehampton.com/2011/09/fitting-it-all-in-hallmark.html. It was the right time for me to read this and it is what I needed. Sometimes I think I clean the house or TRY to get this done, instead of enjoying the important moments or people. Made me think. Kelle has a great blog and is an incrediable writer. You need to hop on over there and check it out.

Remembering 9/11

    I cannot believe that it has 10 years since that awful attack. I remember I was teaching in a preschool classroom and all of a sudden my circle time was interuppted with the director telling us we were dismissing early to a tragic attack in NYC. I turned on the tv in the classroom and it was everywhere. My heart just sank and i remember just crying at all the fatalities and hurt people and then I remember there was a daycare in the building and I lost it even harder.  How can anybody imagine what it is like to wait and wonder to hear about your loved one on the plane or in the towers.
My heart goes out to those who will relive that tragic day tomorrow. Please go hug someone you tight because they are still here with you!

Busy Long weekend

This past weekend we had a combined birthday party for Kendric and Kaelis. Kendric's Birthday was Sunday  Sept 4th and Kaelis's birthday is the Sept 21st,but with both families being out of town we decided to just celebrate together.
Kaelis really had no clue what was going on and she enjoyed her cake. Did not know what to think of it! We had a princess 1st birthday and Captin American party. It was alot of fun. It was great to see family again.

Let me explain the mark in the middle of Kendric's head. On Friday they had a tornado drill nad while Kendric had his head down he decided to rub it against the carpet. Yea, not sure why. Now he has an awsome rug burn on his head.
